PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile seat, which securely controls the forward moving of an occupant upon a sudden deceleration of the car without deteriorating the comfotableness in the car, and is light and inexpensive with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: Inside of the front of a seat cushion 1, a receiving part 4 is arranged in the way that its axial center extends in the longitudinal direction, the receiving part having an overall shape of almost hollow and cylindrical, and being able to deform flexibly in its elasticity in the direction perpendicular to the axial center. When the occupant sits on the seat cushion 1, the receiving part deforms flexibly in flat, not deteriorating the sitting feeling of the occupant. When the buttocks of the occupant is about to move forward upon sudden deceleration, the receiving part 4, having the hollow, cylindrical shape with a high stiffness in the longitudinal direction, receives the buttocks, so that the forward moving of the occupant is controlled.
