PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary box which eliminates the need for opening or closing a lid when throwing a filth such as a sanitary napkin while making the inside invisible from the inlet, enables immediate housing of the filth dumped into a collection bag, and moreover, facilitates the removing of the collection bag. SOLUTION: The ceiling 3 of a box-like body 2 is formed in a shape of a roof inclined forward and backward with a ridge 3a at the center thereof. The rear half 3c of the ceiling 3 is so formed as to be rollable with the ridge 3a as the center of rotation while the inlet 3e is provided at the front half 3b of the ceiling 3. A handle 4 is provided on the front of the box-like body 2 while a back plate 2c is so formed as to be rollable backward with the lower end part thereof as the center of rotation. Moreover, a collection bag 5 for gathering thrown matters is detachably mounted in the box-like body 2.
