The invention refers to the mechanical engineering, especially, to the internal combustion engines. The internal combustion engine contains a crankcase, cylinders provided with pistons and a common combustion chamber, wherein there is placed the spark-plug or the injector. The pistons are joined with the individual crankshafts through a reduction gear, providing for the gear ratio 1:2. Novelty of the invention consists in that into the cylinders there are made inlet, exhaust and scavenging ports for the two-stroke cycle of gas exchange. Into the cylinder, the piston of which is joined with the crankshaft, rotating two times faster, there are made outlet and scavenging ports, communicating with the crankcase chamber and into the cylinder, the piston of which is joined with the crankshaft, rotating two times slower, there is made an exhaust port.The technical result consists in increasing the engine efficiency by improving the gas exchange process.Claims: 1Fig.: 2
