SOLUTION: A 2,000-yen bill is housed in a 10,000-yen cassette 5. When the bill delivered from the 10,000-yen cassette 5 is a 2,000-yen bill at paying time, the paper money is rejected by a discriminating part 4, and is held in a reject holding part 8. When 2,000-yen bills held in the reject holding part 8 become five sheets, these notes are discharged to a paying port 2 as 10,000-yen.
