PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor in an advanced structure capable of performing transmission/shutting-down by stabilizing a clutch means disposed on a driving force transmitting passage to an output member of a load driving motor without using an electro-magnetic relay means, and controlling the operation of an object to be operated. SOLUTION: The clutch means 20 is provided on the driving force transmitting passage to the output member 16 of the load driving motor 18, and a clutch driving motor 24 is also provided in addition to the load driving motor 18. Either one of a permanent magnet 126 or an inductive ring 148 disposed so as to face each other for transmitting rotational force by magnetic induction is rotatably driven by the clutch driving motor 24, and the other, that is, the permanent magnet 126 or the inductive ring 148 drives a switching member 22 of engaging and disengaging the clutch means 20.
