<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the parking of vehicles in a parking area and the like of a highway. SOLUTION: This PA/SA control device 28 is provided with a parking detecting sensor 76a and inlet/outlet vehicle detecting devices 74, 78 for detecting whether an ETC parking area 70 of PA/SA (parting area and the like) 24, 26 is fully occupied or not, or an available parking block Y1 and the like defined in the ETC parking area 70, and a main control device 82 for informing the detected parking situation to an on-vehicle apparatus 20 loaded on a vehicle 18 traveling on a main track of a toll road by wireless communication through a main track antenna 34. Accordingly, a driver can be prevented from unintentionally driving the vehicle 17 to enter the ETC parking area 70 of the PA/SA 24, 26 in a fully occupied state, or looking for an unoccupied parking space in the ETC parking area 70.</p> |
