PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a yield of a semiconductor device, on which a large scale of logical circuit is mounted or a logical circuit and a memory are both mounted in a mixed way. SOLUTION: An input/output circuit 2 is provided in a base circuit block 1. Information can be exchanged from each base circuit block 1 to another base circuit block 1 by using the connection with a transmission line 3 and a branching line 4 between input/output circuits 2. The destination of the signal can be programmable from the outside to the memory in each base circuit block 1 or the input/output circuit 2. In this way, the destination of the signal becomes changeable by changing the program for the memory, so many kinds of functions are realized effectively in a limited circuit scale. In addition, the base circuit block, which has a breakdown occasionally, can be replaced by another base circuit block, and the yield can be improved greatly.
