PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize operation of a circuit for compensating carrier waves offset, in a receiving apparatus of spectrum spread communication. SOLUTION: A received signal is spread inversely in a correlation circuit 12. A synchronous detection circuit 14 detects code synchronization, on the basis of an output of the correlation circuit 12. A phase detection circuit 15 detects the phase of the received signal on the basis of the output of the correlation circuit 12. An AFC circuit 16 detects the carrier wave offset, and forms phase compensation data, on the basis of the detected result. When the carrier wave offset exceeds the range of ±π/2, phase compensation data are formed, after π has been added to the carrier wave offset. The phase compensation data are subtracted from the phase detected by the phase detection circuit 15. A decoding circuit 17 regenerates data, on the basis of the compensated phase. |
