PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic plate making method which enables the extermination of artificial mistake that a wrong image is pasted on a document. SOLUTION: This electronic plate making method for making an electronic printing plate has a step (S101) where an identifier specifying image data is embedded in an image which has the image data and is given a file name, a step (S104) where the identifier embedded in the image file given the file name to be described in an image frame of the printing plate is described in the image frame, and a step (S105) where it is confirmed that the identifier described in the image frame matches the identifier embedded in the image file given the filename actually described in the image frame.
