<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such as the occurrence of uneven electrification due to uneven coating of liquid film in applying liquid in order to electrify in a contact or close contact state, the occurrence of the deterioration of exposure sharpness and the intrusion of the coating liquid into a developing device, in an electrifier loaded onto an image forming device. SOLUTION: The electrifier 2 for electrifying the surface of a photoreceptor 1 to be charged by an electrifying member 22 with a voltage applied by bringing the photoreceptor 1 into close contact with the electrifying member 22, is provided with a liquid applying device 6 for supplying the liquid 64 between the photoreceptor 1 and the electrifying member 22, and the surface of the photoreceptor is electrified while holding the liquid 64 between the photoreceptor 1 and the electrifying member 22 at an electrifying process, and also, the electrifier is provided with a liquid removing device 8 for removing the liquid on the surface of the photoreceptor after the electrifying process, but, before an exposure process, then, the occurrence of uneven electrification is prevented, the sharpness of a latent image formed at the exposure process is maintained, and the liquid is prevented from intruding into the constitutional member for developing.</p> |
