PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power circuit and electronic equipment which are capable of alternatively carrying out part or all of the functions, such as timing and reception and analyses of signals from a remote controller, of a microcomputer in a main circuit in minimum load mode of the electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The power circuit is provided with a regulator circuit that can be incorporated into electronic equipment and oscillates an alternating- current power supply by PWM; a synchronous rectification circuit that rectifies the oscillated voltage to generate a single or a plurality of specified output voltages; and a power supply controlling means that is capable of controlling the PWM oscillation by the regulator circuit and the rectification by the synchronous rectification circuit. When the electronic equipment shifts to minimum load mode, the power supply controlling means alternatively carries out part or all of the functions which are otherwise carried out by an equipment controlling means for controlling the electronic equipment.
