PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirroring agent, more solid and strong against failure. SOLUTION: The hardware-based mirroring agent, one of the implementation states of this invention, doesn't include an interior data memory device which a remote host computer can access and doesn't have the exterior connection for connecting the data memory device physically and directly to an exclusive- hardware-based mirroring device. Instead, the hardware-based mirroring agent accesses a remote data memory device via a communication medium and initializes and keeps the mirror relation between remote data memory devices, then provides the interface with the mirrored remote data memory device to the host computer. |
