PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loss at a charging current detecting means and avoid troubles in the battery by excessive current if a load is a secondary battery, and to reduce the quantity of air redundantly produced for reduction of power consumption and noise if a load is a centrifugal blower motor. SOLUTION: A current controller is constituted of a power converting means 41 that converts direct-current power supply into alternating-current power supply or any other form of power supply by turn-on and -off of a switching element 42; an input current detecting means 46; an output voltage detecting means 45; an output current reference value generating means 47; an input current reference value calculating means 48 that multiplies the output of the output voltage detecting means by the output of the output current reference value generating means and outputs the result of the calculation as input current reference value; and a power controlling means 49 that controls the output current of the power converting means so that an input current reference value from the input current reference value calculating means is substantially matched with an input current detected by the input current detecting means.
