PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine for vehicle capable of restraining a temperature rise in a vibration control member and reducing magnetic noise. SOLUTION: At the axial side inner periphery of a front housing 1, a stator 6 is fixed so that the vibration control member 5 and a cooling medium passage 41 may be sandwiched. The vibration control member 5 is formed out of an annular soft resin material and is assembled with a prescribed interference between the inner periphery of the front housing 1 and the outer periphery of the cooling medium passage 41. By passing cooling medium through the cooling medium passage 41, the vibration control member 5 is cooled.
