The hydraulic engine - unit of water wheels can find application in hydraulic engineering, basically for driving of electric generators, as well as for equipment for water-mills, saw-mills and the like. It has simplified structure and is distinguished by its compactness and reliability. The hydraulic engine includes more than two low-operating water wheels (1) with blades (10). The water wheels (1) are mechanically interconnected by means of bevel gears (3,4) and shafts (5) and generally to an electric generator (7) by means of gear (6). The low-operating (operating from their lower parts) water wheels (1) are interconnected in a unit by means of a belt (2) and are fitted in succession in an inclined canal (9) the width of which is equal to the width of the blades (10) of the water wheels (1). 1 claim, 2 figures
