The wheel-chair (1) and piece of furniture in the form of a wheeled container (5,6) are detachably joined by means of interlocking pieces in the form of a hook (8) on the piece of furniture and interlocking with a profiled section (9). Both the hook and profiled section are at floor-level (4) and have an unlocking arrangement (10).
