<p>The invention generally relates to the prevention of leishmaniasis in animals, particularly the infection caused by Leishmania sp., which comprises protein P36 of Leishmania infantum, or an immunogenic fragment thereof or an expression system of said protein or fragment, optionally together with a compound that enhances a Th1 cell immune response. The invention also relates to several vaccination protocols against Leishmania sp. using said vaccine.</p> |
