PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing a turn number and shortcircuit of a coil transformer is provided to perform easily a test process by using a data setup function and an error allowance function. CONSTITUTION: A microprocessor(1) controls an internal operation according to a user's option from a turn number measuring range setting key(2), a measuring range memory key(3), a power and turn number downward correction key(4). a turn number upward correction key(5), an FND/turn number measuring key(6), and an automatic setting key(7). An analog multiplexer IC(8) applies a signal to one side of each channel according to a control signal of the microprocessor(1). A short sensing portion(9) detects the signal from the analog multiplexer IC(8) and one side of the other channel. A buzzer(10) generates an alarm sound by using a speaker. A voltage detection portion(12) detects a voltage value applied to the other side of the channel. An operation portion(13) calculates the turn numbers of each channel. A comparator portion(14) compares the calculated turn number with a reference value. An FND drive portion(15) displays the compared result of the comparator portion(14) on a display(16). A memory(17) is used for storing each reference value of the turn numbers.
