<p>The work pieces are carried on palettes etc. having similar independent drive units (20) for modular arrangement. A drive unit is moved into friction contact with palettes for translatory movement of the palettes, which are placed on a carrier (14). The drive unit has a drive motor (22) or a drive belt (27), and is positioned between two roller tracks of the transporter (32), which form the carrier. The drive motor is regulated by a central control unit.</p> |
