PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malfunction of a device and prevent the defective meshing between the connecting teeth of an armature and the connecting teeth of a hub. SOLUTION: A support section 37 is protruded at the lower end of a rotor 3 rotated integrally with a drive shaft 2, and a projection 35 is protruded on a flange section 33. A coupling hole 51 is provided at the center of the armature 5, and a through hole 52 to be inserted with the projection 35 is provided at an outer peripheral end section. The coupling hole 51 of the armature 5 is coupled with the support section 37 of the rotor 3 via a ring-like member 4 formed with a resin. The hub 6 is supported on a driven side rotating member to face the armature 5 so that their connecting teeth are meshed with each other. When an electromagnetic coil 8 is excited, the armature 5 is moved in the B direction to separate from the hub 6 against the elastic force of a compression coil spring 7.
