PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a ruggedness of an inner periphery of a vulcanization mold 31 without stopping a vulcanizing work of a tire vulcanizing apparatus. SOLUTION: A method for measuring the ruggedness of the inner periphery of a vulcanization executing unit comprises the steps of clamping a container 36 and the vulcanization mold 37 similarly to a tire vulcanizing time by a separate clamping means 53 from the tire vulcanizing apparatus, and then measuring the ruggedness of the inner periphery of the mold 37. Thus, conveying and delivering works of a measurement sensor 65 into or from the mold 37, a ruggedness measuring work and regulating works of the container 36 and the mold 37 based on its measured result can be executed by separate setting-up from the vulcanizing work. As a result, it is not necessary to stop the vulcanizing work of the tire vulcanizing apparatus.
