PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cooking stove having a simple structure which ensures prevention of boiling over or scorching of food to be cooked, by switching off the power source of an electric heater and, at the same time, mechanically disconnecting the electric heater and an object to be heated without using a temperature sensor. SOLUTION: The electric cooking stove is constructed such that, when the power source of the electric heater is switched off, the object to be heated is disconnected from the electric heater.
