PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a cylindrical member capable of accurately and efficiently manufacturing the seamless cylindrical member without performing correction work such as alignment or the like at the time of molding of the cylindrical member on a molding roll. SOLUTION: The cylindrical member Wx is molded by an extruder 1 for extruding a rubbery elastic material W, a housing 3 equipped with a die 2 for molding the rubbery elastic material W into a predetermined shape and the rotatable, expansible and contractible molding roll 4 for molding the cylindrical member Wx. The bank part 5 of the rubbery elastic material W extruded from the extruder 1 is formed to the gap part between the guide surface 3a formed into an arcuate shape of the housing and the molding roll 4 arranged adjacently to the guide surface 3a, and the rubbery elastic material W supplied to the bank part 5 is formed into a sheetlike material having a predetermined shape by the die 2 to be wound around the molding roll 4 accompanied by the rotation of the molding roll 4 to be molded into the cylindrical member Wx.
