PURPOSE: An EC operating method is provided to enable an applicant to select one among various purchase application methods while paying a participation fee alone so that it enables the applicant to expect a fixed purchase winning rate. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of an applicant accessing an EC site and selecting a commodity among commodities displayed at the EC site(200, 205), the applicant selecting one among offered purchase application methods(210, 220), the applicant paying an application participation fee according to the selected purchase application method(250), the applicant selecting other purchase application method on the same commodity in a case that the purchaser can not participate in the previous purchase application method(270), the commercial site finalizing the application if the number of the application participants meets the limited number(290), the commercial site drawing a lottery among the application participants for determining a winner(300, 400), the winner paying for the commodity at the price designated previously by the commercial site(450), the commercial site delivering the commodity to the winner(500), and the winner notifying the commercial site of an arrival of the delivered commodity.
