PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap capable of reliably discharging the drainage of a washing machine in a watertight state without overflowing it to the outside even when a drainage quantity is increased and reliably stopping the backflow of a stench from the downstream side. SOLUTION: A hose junction 2 and a drain pipe junction 3 are provided on a ring body 1 coupled with the drain port B of a floor surface A and connected to a drain pipe C mounted and fixed on the floor surface. A throat 7 integrally molded with a small-diameter tube section 73 is coupled with a large-diameter tube section 71 inserted into a hose joint 6 and is inserted and held to the drain pipe junction 3 of the ring body 1 via a tapered tube section 72 having an inclined wall. A seal water tube body 8, which is provided on a holding tube section 81 coupled with the large-diameter tube section 71 of the throat 7 via a connecting piece 82 and has an opening 84 nearly on the whole periphery, is arranged at water flowing gaps 9 and 10 with the outer peripheral section and the lower section of the small-diameter tube section 73 of the throat 7 in the drain pipe C.
