PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rotation limit detection apparatus with a simple structure that can be used within two rotations. SOLUTION: The rotation limit detection apparatus is formed so that it can identify and store a rotation direction and can output a unidirectional rotation identification storage signal or another direction rotation direction identification storage signal under conditions that a second sensor detected a second body to be detected while a rotor is rotating, and is formed so that the apparatus can output a first detection signal when a first sensor detected the first body to be detected while the rotor is rotating and can output a third detection signal when a third sensor detected the third body to be detected while the rotor was rotating. Also, a rotation limit detection section is provided so that it can generate a unidirectional rotation limit detection signal with the unidirectional identification storage signal and the first detection signal as input and can generate another direction rotation limit detection signal with the detection signal of another direction rotation identification storage signal 3 as input.
