PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive article holding device used for transportation of an article. SOLUTION: The article holding device is composed of a holding base board 2 approximately in a rectangular shape having an opening 1 in an optional size at its center and a two-ply elastic film 3, 3' stuck to opposite two sides of the base board 2 so as to cover the opening 1 of the base board. The opposite two sides of the lower film 3' are stuck respectively at their ends to the base board 2 with adhesive layers 4, 4' while at least one side of the upper elastic film 3 is connected to the lower film 3', and the article 5 is put between the two films 3, 3' and suspended therewith.
