PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a woody composite plate having excellent dimensional stability and a strength performance from small- diameter thinned wood, building disassembling materials or the like having a small added value, by controlling a manufacturing factor affecting a large influence to a product performance. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the woody composite plate using timber thin pieces as front and rear layers and woody small pieces as an inner layer comprises the steps of controlling three conditions of water contents, a hot pressing temperature and a maximum pressure generated at a foaming mat at a hot pressing time of the front and rear layers after foaming; and hot press molding the layers.
