PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrap-round packaging method by a lock-type carton and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: The wrap-round packaging apparatus by the lock-type carton is provided wherein a blank sheet D with an article A mounted is pressed downward together with the article A, a sidewall between slits is expanded outward while both sidewalls of the carton equipped with the slits of the blank sheet D are folded, other sidewalls of the carton of the blank sheet D are folded meanwhile to insert a flap of the sidewall into the slit, and the slit provided on the flap and the slit of the sidewall which has been folded previously are engaged with each other to form the carton. |
