PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling automatically a side mirror of a vehicle is provided to help a safety driving of the vehicle by automatically controlling an inclination of the side mirror along with an operation of a turn signal. CONSTITUTION: An electric bulb(110) and a cooper plate(310) are attached at one side of a mirror body(100), and a magnet(300) is installed at a rear side of a mirror(200). The magnet forms a magnetic field when a turn signal is operated by an iron core. The mirror(200) is hinged and coupled at one side of a mirror fixing bracket(400). A bracket fixing unit(700) having a permanent magnet(450) is hinged and coupled at the other side of the mirror. If the turn signal is operated, an electric power source is applied at the iron core, an electromagnet(300) becomes the same with the permanent magnet as the polarity, the other side of the mirror is pushed automatically in a 10-15 mm outward, and an inclination of the mirror is controlled. If the turn signal is stopped, the electric power source is switched, the magnetic field of the electromagnet is diminished, and then the mirror is returned into an initial position by the magnetic field of the permanent magnet.
