PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket excavating device capable of improving its durability by preventing a cylinder and a rod adjoining a bucket from being damaged. SOLUTION: The bucket excavating device is provided with a second boom 3 capable of being vertically rocked and fitted with the cylinder 7a on the front side, the bucket 4 vertically rotatably connected to the tip of the second boom 3, and a tip link 8 linking the tip of the rod 7b of the cylinder 7 to the bucket 4. A protective link 10 is pivotally supported on the middle of the second boom 3 at one end and pivotally supported on a junction between the rod 7b and the tip link 8 at the other end. The protective link 10 is provided with a protective face 10 protruded to the outside than the rod 7b when the rod 7b is advanced.
