PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet for a penetrating material or for a high gloss reflecting material and a favorable image quality and, at the same time, the preservability such as the water resistance, resistance to ozone, light resistance or the like of recorded images and excellent characters and the improved image bleeding of the ink jet recording sheet with time. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording sheet which is produced by providing at least one layer or more of an ink accepting layer on a support, the ink accepting layer consists of inorganic ultrafine particles, a binder and a cationic dye fixer and is covered with a cationic polymer. Further, as the polymer is made of a cationic emulsion having a glass transition temperature of 60 deg.C or higher, the ink jet recording sheet having favorable lustrous properties and a favorable image quality is formed. |
