PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of increasing the contact time of air bubbles with water in a water reservoir having a limited height and supplying small air bubbles even to a position near the surface of water. SOLUTION: The humidifier (10) having the water reservoir (1) for containing water and a compressed air jetting means (2) provided on the bottom of the water reservoir is provided with an air bubble finely dividing layer (3a) arranged in a lift path of the air bubbles jetted from the compressed air jetting means (2) and lifting in the water.
