摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary body driving mechanism capable of driving a rotary body without changing a speed by smoothly transmitting torque of a driving source to the rotary body with the simple constitution without using a large diameter gear and a complicated gear mechanism. SOLUTION: This rotary body driving mechanism has an end plate member 12 having an annular ring-shaped part 13 integrally arranged in an end part of a photoreceptor drum (the rotary body) 10, and a driving roller 17 arranged by bringing an outer peripheral surface into pressure contact with an inner peripheral surface of the annular ring-shaped part 13, and is constituted so as to transmit torque of a motor 21 to the photoreceptor drum 10 via the driving roller 17. The driving roller 17 is composed of an elastic body such as rubber. The tip part 17a tapers off. This constitution can obtain a high-grade output image for reducing nonuniformity of the concentration by restraining a speed change in the photoreceptor drum 10. The photoreceptor drum 10 can be easily attached and detached. A slide is caused little between the driving roller 17 and the annular ring-shaped part 13 so that the photoreceptor drum 10 can be smoothly rotatably driven.
