PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop frame blocks which facilitate laying work of blocks, has large strength at joint portions, and exhibits natural appearance, and to provide formation surface protective work. SOLUTION: The blocks each have a connecting arm outward extending therefrom, and leading ends of the connecting arms of the adjacent blocks are arranged in parallel with each other such that their side surfaces make contact with each other, followed by connecting the leading ends together by means of a connector such as a bolt. A top face of the block has a wooden rod attached thereto along the length of a plate member of the block. Since the leading ends of the connecting arms are connected together by the connector such as the bolt, the blocks can be strongly connected to each other, and therefore hardening of a connecting portion is dispensed with. Further, not concrete but wood is exposed on the formation surface, and therefore natural appearance is exhibited.
