PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plated synthetic-resin member for a vehicle by which high-grade impression can be produced even at night. SOLUTION: In the plated synthetic-resin member 3 for a vehicle constituted by forming a plating film 6 having metallic luster on the surface of a member body 5 made of synthetic resin, the member body 5 is molded using light- transmitting synthetic resin and the plating film 6 having light transmittance is formed on the surface of the member body 5 and also a built-in lamp 8 capable of lighting is provided to the member body 5. The lamp 8 is lighted at night to make the plating film 8 into a luminous state.
