PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precision processing method optimum for accurately correcting the shape of an aspherical lens whose shape is complicated, and further to provide a highly accurate lens having excellent surface smoothness and complicated shape. SOLUTION: After specifying a characteristically defective spot of a lens, the surface shape is evaluated, shape correction amount is decided according to the condition of the surface shape, and the shape of the defective spot of the lens is corrected. Various methods are considered as a shape correction means, and the optimum shape correction means is selected according to the shape and the size of a defective part. The shape is corrected by filling a shape defective part 2 with optical material 3 when the defect of the surface shape of the lens 1 is based on the shape of a recessed part. |
