PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate molded lens made small in size in the orthogonal direction to an optical axis. SOLUTION: This molded lens is equipped with a 1st surface having a 1st optical surface and a 2nd surface having a 2nd optical surface on an opposite side to the 1st surface, and has a 1st flat part nearly parallel with a plane including the optical axis of the molded lens and the shape of the outer periphery of the 1st optical surface is circular or it has the 1st flat part and further a 2nd flat part at a symmetrical position with the 1st flat part with respect to the plane and the shape of the outer periphery of the 1st optical surface is circular.
