PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of preventing a slip of recording paper caused by a paper feed roller according to an enlargement of a diameter of a paper roll. SOLUTION: This printer is characterized by having the first paper feed roller 23 capable of feeding the recording paper pulled out of the paper roll, a printing head capable of printing the recording paper fed by the paper feed roller 23, a first shock absorbing member 32 constituted so as to be elastically displaced by abutting to the paper feed roller 23 side recording paper, and a second shock absorbing member 33 constituted so as to be elastically displaced when the first shock absorbing member 32 abuts to the paper roll side recording paper from the opposite side of the abutting side.
