PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet stapling device which can be connected to a printer device and prevent any positional deviation and jamming of paper sheets. SOLUTION: A paper sheet holding lever 3a oscillating in the vertical direction is disposed above a stapling table 29. When the paper sheet is drawn in, the paper sheet P passes by pushing up the paper sheet holding lever 3a, and the paper sheet P is fed into the stapling table 29 by a paper drawing-in roller mechanism. When the paper sheet P passes through the paper sheet drawing-in roller mechanism, a terminating end of the paper sheet P is pressed against the stapling table 29 by the paper sheet holding lever 3a. Since the paper sheet holding lever 3a holds the paper sheet, the paper sheet P is not discharged from the stapling table 29 in a reverse direction when a paper sheet aligning rotary brush 15 sweeps the paper sheet P toward a rear wall surface of the stapling table 29, and the paper sheets are aligned at the predetermined position.
