SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, a belt 2 and a tread 3 are sequentially arranged on the outer peripheral side of a crown part of a carcass 1, and a plurality of circumferential grooves 6 are disposed in a tread step 5. A fiber layer 9 comprising organic fibers 9a radially extending is buried in the outer wall 8 of a shoulder rib 7 partitioned near the side edge of the tread step 5.
