METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING LIGHT CONTROLLING FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily measurable the transmittance all over the surface of a light controlling filter with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The light controlling filter 63 as an object for the measurement is positioned and held in the position according to the form of the filter by a holder 53 of a transmissivity measuring machine A. The position data of the origin and the position data for the measurement of the positioned and held light controlling filter 63 and the data of the designed transmissivity of the light controlling filter at the point for the measurement are preliminarily stored. The light controlling filter 63 is positioned by moving the holder 53 so that the position data of the origin of the filter 63 coincides with the origin of the transmissivity measuring machine. The transmissivity of the filter 63 is measured by the transmissivity measuring machine A at each position corresponding to the position data for the measurement. The difference between the measured transmissivity and the data of the designed transmissivity is obtained for each position data for the measurement. The obtained difference in the transmissivity is used to correct the NC data for the manufacture of the original plate of the light controlling filter.
