PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appeal by adding a new function to a race toy running on a course and competing for fastness. SOLUTION: A running body 1 competing for fastness by running on a course has a memory at least storing identification information given to discriminate an individual running body 1 from the others, and a responder forming a noncontact data carrier system. Information stored in the memory is accessible from the outside through a questioning machine 3 installed on the course side and capable of exchanging data with the responder.
