SUBSTANCE: invention is related to power switch meant for kilovolt range and including vacuum arc chute embraced without clearance by collar made of elastomer material of high dielectric strength. Collar in its turn is clamped by halves of body of power switch. Technical result consists in effective prevention of external flash-over between face plates of vacuum arc chute under high voltage in time of change-over. Necessity in employment of liquid and gaseous media becomes superfluous. As result no great expenses for conducting test are required in contrast to traditional power switches and this power switch does not present any danger to environment.
