ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM INCLUDING EXTERNAL STORAGE DEVICE

PURPOSE: An external storage device and an entertainment system are provided to perform the function of a main unit of a hard disk drive without disassembling the external hard disk drive by exposing a switch out of a case. CONSTITUTION: An external storage device(3) connected to electronic equipments through a cable(34) includes a switch for selecting the function of a main unit of the external storage device. A user freely sets the function of the external storage device by simply operating the switch. The arrangement eliminates the need for disassembling the external storage device to switch the function thereof. The switch is externally exposed out of the case of the external storage device.
