PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method which uses an aqueous surfactant solution and is good in the cleaning efficiency of the organic matter sticking to a thermoplastic resin molding and a method of manufacturing thermoplastic resin microporous film utilizing the same. SOLUTION: The cleaning method for the thermoplastic resin molding is the method of cleaning the organic mater sticking to the thermoplastic resin molding, in which a detergent used in this method contains (A) a surfactant, (B) water and (C) a non-polar organic solvent and has at least two phases of a microemulsion phase and water phase or the three phases of the microemulsion phase, the water phase and the non-polar organic solvent phase and the method of manufacturing the thermoplastic resin microporous film utilizing the same.
