PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine provided with an oil returning structure capable of being applied to also the mounting of a four-stroke V-type engine. SOLUTION: An oil pan is provided on a lower side of an engine of an outboard engine. The engine is made a V-type engine arraying a plurality of cylinders so as to form a V-type opened in left and right width directions. Each cylinder is provided with a cam chamber. Between a block small assembly constituting this cam chamber and a crank chamber and the oil pan, a mount case is interposed. This mount case is provided with openings for returning oil 215, 216 corresponding to each cam chamber at intervals in a width direction. Between the openings for returning oil 215, 216 corresponding to each cam chamber, an opening 111 for returning oil from the crank chamber is provided. Therefore, because each opening for returning oil 215, 216 and 111 of each cam chamber and crank chamber is independent, oil flow is not hindered by flow from other directions and flows more smoothly. |
