PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force control device for a vehicle capable of suppressing application of excessive load torque of a generator to an internal combustion engine, even at a very low speed traveling time, considering the relation of load torque of the generator and output torque of the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: Front wheels 1L and 1R are driven by an engine 2, rear wheels 3L and 3R are driven by a motor 4 and the motor 4 is driven by power generated by the generator 7. The generator 7 is driven by a motor 2. When the front wheels 1L and 1R accelerate and slip, the generator 7 is controlled so as to set generating load torque according to the acceleration slip amount. At this time, when deviation torque ΔTe that minimum allowable torque Tk without stopping the engine 2 is subtracted from engine output torque Te is smaller than the load torque Th, excessive generating load torque is prevented from being applied to the engine 2 by increasing the output of the engine 2. |
