PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image disturbance which is caused by weld chips entering toner in the case a partition is separately formed in a toner storage container. SOLUTION: Ribs 31a and 31b are integrally formed on a lid 31 of the toner storage container 30 having an opening 32 closed with a toner seal member 24. Because a cartridge is composed of only the container 30 and lid 31 and the ribs are not separate parts, weld chips do not occur. Protection of the toner seal member from impact applied in case the cartridge fell can be highly reliably achieved at a low cost.
