PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring member and a toner supply container, whereby rotation at a low torque is enabled while the strength of the stirring member is maintained and, therefore, toner, etc., in the container can be used effectively. SOLUTION: The stirring member 37 includes a flexible member which is freely rotatably disposed within the toner supply container and designed to stir toner in the toner supply container in order to carry the toner to a toner supply port. In the stirring member 37, leading ends of slits 45 extending perpendicular to a rotational shaft are inclined toward the center in the direction of the rotational axis. Thus, an amount of flexure of each part of the stirring member 37 is varied in order to collect the toner toward the center. In addition, toner pressure is decreased by making holes 46a to 46g in separate areas defined by the slits 45. |
